one of the greatest seperating factors for religion vs relationship or a non believer vs a believer in Jesus Christ is trust. Trust means to have hope in, or simply to put all your eggs in one basket in regards to something. For example when we bored a plane, some of us our putting our trust in the pilot that he knows what he's doing, or wasn't drinking before the flight; some of us put our trust in the engineers or the mechanics and manufactures that they created a craft that would go airborn. Others of us trust that God has revelead to all those people the proper information to make the vehicle fly and that no free will was excercised in the design causing a flaw.

Today’s verse prompts me to give my testimony.  Many of you know, many of you don’t, many of you know me and know that I am a Christian, but don’t know why.

I’m truly awed by God’s presence, by the things God does. Last night we put on the event Generation –U at Emmanuel Cathedral in Bridgeport, Ct and despite all the enemy tried to do to discourage, God pulled it off in a magnificent way!

For reasons beyond my control, I warmed up the bench 90% of the time in high school basketball. Midway through the season we played Danbury high school and we’re being beat by at least 20points, so the coach mercifully put me in the game, one thing led to another and our team got dunked on twice within 30 seconds. On the bus ride home the coaches only focus was blaming me for the 2 dunks. I was overwhelmed with extreme guilt…the guilt was so bad, that was the last game I would play because I quit, I’d at the time run and hide from the shame than to stand up to it.
