A pastor on a mid western plantation, separated from the intense bombarding of temptation was asked if he still struggles with temptation. The pastor responded, "yes" I still struggle with various temptations. He was then asked, how do you deal with them? He explained that he realizes the fight within him is like 2 wild animals fighting, the more nourished animal was always going to win, and the one that was always wondering the prairie looking for food and rarely catching anything most likely was the loser through starvation or utter defeat at the paws of the enemy...

He explained that when he was facing struggles with temptation, it was because he was "sowing, or feeding his fleshly desires too much" or not "sowing or feeding his spiritual desires enough"

Spiritual there is a major buffet of means of feeding off of God's word, whether it be through podcasts, Online Bible study tools, or even old school "pick up a paper back or hard cover copy" of God's word.

Spiritual victories come from eating hefty portions of God's word. A healthy diet of God's word, or an Adam Apple a day will keep the enemy away! (cheap joke LOL)
